Lols

Not been loosing the weight I anticipated for a few reasons but I've been going back to the gym as of last week, the bank holiday has thrown me off a tad but I've been managed 2 hours everytime I go, so win!

At the gym I've pretty much been doing:
30 - 35 min >> Tread mill (burning approx. 150 cal)
30 min >> Bikes ( 100 - 150 cal)
I vary daily between the bikes and cross trainer
30 min >> Cross trainer (100 - 150 cal)
5 - 10 mins >> Stepper (40 - 70 cal)
5 - 10 mins >> Rower (40 - 70 cal)

Inbetween this I use the vaious weights but I mainly target on stomach crunches and weights which use the back muscles, this uses up the remaining time I have.

I do feel a lot better for it, specially when you get some people who come in and only use the gym for an hour, I know I have free time to do all this in but still it's a little bit of satisfaction :)
Still got a fair amount of weight to loose however as my body is getting more toned I've not become as bothered about reaching the 8 & 1/2 stone mark. (Although getting down to it would be great ;D)
Going again tomorrow and then for Mon > tues > wed and possibly thurs morn next week. Going to be going a little crazy over the next couple of days but hopefully it'll pay off.

Feeling..

Terrible!
Back to starting point but now I have about 10 weeks to get round to my desired weight and fitness!
Aim is to lose at least around 3lb a week. So should mean a total weight loss of around 1 stone 7lbs to 2 stone.
Started to cut my food intake and got back on the exercise bike today a few times and done a few situps but I really need to get myself back in check.
So! Early to bed tonight, early wake up tomorrow, gym for an hour - 2 hours.
Tempted to try some diet pills from holland and barrett, if I do I'll make sure to keep a note of it in here and since I know the effect healthy eating and exercise has I can report if it's just that or if the pill helps.
Anywho...
yoshi!

diet

I was doing so well! And that something happened, I went out for a friends 21st and then after that just lacked any desire to go out! I've been so bad :(
But after watching another load of diet programs I'm going back to the gym tomorrow and for the 3 days following.

jym jim gym

So I dragged my lazy ass down to the gym today, walked in to see about 4 'fat' blokes working out which suddenly made me feel better about myself. I wish I had a gym partner though, gets awfully tedious.
Anywho.

Gym workout:

  • 8 minute strech and warm up (tae-bo)
  • 5 mins on the stepping machine
  • 10 mins on tread mill, walking - slight jogging
  • 8 mins on cycle
  • 5 mins rowing
  • 20 mins on assorted weights
  • 5 minute tread mill walking/cool down

    Total:approx. 60 minutes

  • My legs ache >_< however, I'm making sure to go down tomorrow though and then at least 3 times next week. After the session although I feel better I still feel unhealthy.
Just watching a tonight program about obesity in the uk vs france, perhaps I should move over there to diet. :P
    ANYWHO!... adios

Not been too good this week in regards as to going to the gym, I've been managing once a week thus far but it's doing the trick, I'm averaging 9 stone 7 pounds (133lbs) and although theres still no real change in terms of inches my mucle development is obvious so I have a lower body fat percentage.
    So yeh, keep it up!

Went back to the gym today, I was only one of two people in there, felt embarrasing putting all the weights down from like 10 down to the 1 - 2 - 3 settings lol. Anywho

    Gym workout:

  • 5 minute strech
  • 5 mins on the stepping machine
  • 5 mins on cycle
  • 5 mins on tread mill
  • 5 mins rowing
  • 20 mins on assorted weights
  • 5 minute tread mill walking/cool down

    Total: 50 minutes

  • Check me out :D Going down again tomorrow maybe, my knees kill. Hopefully I'll be able to do more, I feel so much better for it.

Things I've been up too since my last update:

I've noticed a small difference in my body but not in weight/size measurement so I wont bother writing those.
Signed up for the gym and although I've been awfully lazy this week I'm going to go as much as I can next week. At home I've just been doing sit ups and riding on the bike, anything to get the heart rate up really.
So yes, although progress is slow I feel better for it :D

    Vicious Whisper

    I admit

I was a bit naughty yesterday, I had a piece of chocolate. :/ Thing is though, as soon as I woke up I realised the excezma had come up on my face (since I hadnt been putting any toxins etc into my body it would react faster to foods like that) So.. now I know, half my skin complaints are probably due to the food I'm eating. However, I've also been going light headed/dizzy, not sure what to do about that - might drink more water.

    Today

I'm feeling rather good :) Breakfast started off with a nice bowl of wheatabix and rasberries, semi-skimmed milk. Also had some apple juice later on and now I've just had a nice cup of green tea.
It's been wierd adjusting my taste buds, I love having sugar in things so the breakfast was harsh.
Went out shopping today, brought some brown rice, chinese spices, saké, some more veg and also picked up some oat milk to try although I'm not sure about it. If I dont like it I'll be trying the rice milk but it has 1/10th the fat in it then semi-skimmed milk does so it has to be good. Then I popped over to the gym to see how much it would cost to use, not bad in price (£2.80 off peak - £3.80 on peak) but you have to have a gym induction so I'm going to book that next week, hopefully my lady kate will come along. Also decided to buy some gym clothes, they remind me sourly of P.E at school (unimpressed) however I guess they crappyness of the clothes will inspire me to work out of them :P
Also, why do stores sell the clothes smaller in size then they actually say? aka the size 12 was more like a 10. It's appauling, I understand why they might do it but it's like hitting you while your down.
Dinner is going to consist of fried chicken and veg cooked in a nice low fat oil which is about 1 calorie (!), low-fat soy sauce and some ginger I think and put onto a bed of mixed lettuce and peppers :P yum!! sounds a lot better then the fish and chips my parents just rung up with as an offer to dinner!
    NO CHOCOLATE TODAY ;o shocking!
    p!nk

    New rules

I've given up chocolate as of today, this was a really hard thing for me to do so I hope I can keep it up and I've filled the fridge with some nice veg like peppers, babycorn etc so nothing unhealthy for me. My parents are a rubbish influence when I'm on diet because they just eat take aways or meals that contain your entire daily need of fat and calories in one serving hense my decision to start stocking my own stuff again. Maybe it'll encourage them to be healthy aswell but I've tried before and it doesnt work, and they cause me to lapse so... bad parents, bad!
    So exercise!

    16th Jan
    - exercise bike, lvl 2 - 10 minutes
    - stomach crunches - 30 repetitions
    - pressups (can't remember, till my arms hurt)
    - tae-bo punch exercises - 10 minutes

    17th Jan
    -bike, lvl 2 - 20 minutes
    - stomach crunches - 30 repetitions
    - tae-bo punch exercises - 10 minutes
-endurance arm training - 60 count

I realise it all sounds like rubbish at the moment but I'm still ill, usually I'd work out on the bike till there would be sweat pouring off me but I've been having horrible migraines lately (exercise making the pain more intense).
I've set myself a goal of 12 weeks to get myself into shape as of next week which makes it the 16th April to have lost the weight and have changed my lifestyle.
Also going to do a detox next week which should help matters along. :D
    Feeling positive.

    Lets start shall we!

After reading [info]freshie15 journal I've decided I need to start out a workout/diet/exercise thing of my own.
I had been exercising regular before christmas burning at least 400cals on an exercise bike 3 - 4 days a week however, I picked up a cold once again over new years so I've been somewhat set back and haven't worked out properly in over 2 weeks. So, I'll start again

Starting out as of january '07
  • Age: 21

  • Goal: 8 + 1/2 stone (117lbs)

  • Current weight: 9 + 1/2 stone ish (136lbs)

  • Height: 5' 4''

  • Body build: Average

  • Size: 12 - 14 uk

  • Measurements
  • Waist: 30"

  • Hips: 37"

  • Chest: 38"

  • Arm: 11"

  • Thigh: 19"

  • Ankle: 8"

  • Wrist: 6"

  • I want to look as good as I can be, I've never been 117lbs before, the lightest I have ever been was about 126lbs (9 stone) over a 2 month period but it wasn't healthy and I feel like if I don't do it now I'll never feel inspired to be that way and feel as good as I can be.
I'll get back to this when I've consulted a doctor for advice/eating plans and settled into a gym which I intend to do in the next week or so once I get rid of my horrible cough.
